This place was a trip (in a good way). Immaculately clean in every square inch. As an out of towner I thoroughly enjoyed the old locals coming in and asking for "tube steaks" over and over again, and the guys behind the counter playing along. Dogs were pretty skinny, and the flavors were not extraordinary. But for a lunch that fed 2 people for around $15, there is pretty good value here.

Stopped by based on reviews and the star power that Alton Brown liked it. The good is that the place is spotlessly clean, the man working was very pleasant, and the experience felt like stepping back into the sixties. They have RC Cola and birch beer on tap.

Unfortunately, the food wasn't great. I got two dogs with chili and cheese - the dogs weren't special, kind of bland. The buns could have come out of a grocery store package. The cheese was cheese sauce and the chili was thin. I expected a big bakery style hot dog bun, flavorful meat dogs, and meaty chili. This is not a Callahans, Rutt's, Galloping Hill Inn kind of place and that's a shame.

A long time favorite! Hot Texas Weiners that are actually hot. They are spicy enough to have a little kick! This is a very simple place. Hot dogs with a few choices of toppings, grape and orange drink, RC cola, root beer, diet rite and .....red Birch beer!!! No fries. Hot dogs by Sabbrett - dirty water style. (Less salty) simple and great since 1959.

Classic New York pushcart (Sabrett) Hot dogs. One of my 3 favorite Hot Dogs brand. Service was quick. A very popular spot as it is located on side of the busy roadway and visible to all.
