First Watch - Montvale

We were very excited to hear that First Watch was coming to Montvale, having discovered this place in Naples, FL and loved it! We actually went for breakfast on both Saturday & Sunday. It was crowded both days, but the service on Saturday was much better. Sunday was a disaster. We were asked almost as soon as we sat down if we were ready to order. We weren't and then the server didn't return for at least 20 minutes. Then, four out of five of us got our meals; the fifth came about 10 minutes later. My food was cold and the fresh strawberries I asked for had the green leafy ends sprinkled about and my niece and my daughter received incorrect items. The service was inattentive - had to ask for water and coffee refills multiple times in addition to napkins. Nobody checked on us to see if everything was OK or if we needed anything. I flagged down a manager, who was very apologetic about our experience and to our surprise, comped our entire bill, which was extremely nice of her. Great customer service! Hopefully, these are just some growing pains and they will improve upon these issues. Love the decor of the restaurant and glad to see there is outside seating for when the weather gets nicer.

Excellent addition to the Farm!

Came to the opening weekend and was completely blown away. The restaurant itself is gorgeous, open space, and country chic vibes. Servers were attentive and super friendly. Hard to pick from the menu, as there are so many good choices. Food was amazing, and I can eat the bacon and farm stand breakfast tacos all day and night!! The manager came over to check on us and was super nice. Will definitely return and highly recommend! You will become a regular!

First Watch Montvale is a great addition to the Shoppes at DePiero Farm, adjacent to Wegmans. Today was their first official day of service, and I was greeted welcomingly. This is a great spot for breakfast and everything seems very fresh, with some healthy selections on the menu. The coffee is very good and the Morning Meditation specialty juice was great.
