(September 30, 2018, 8:18 pm)Nice Mom & Pop breakfast and lunch cafe. We went for lunch on a cool early fall day and decided to take advantage of the outdoor seating. Backstreet Cafe has nice landscaping and low background music making for an enjoyable and relaxing experience, away from the noise of River Road.
We ordered The Mediterranean Chicken panini, which was tasty as well as the Tuna melt with Provolone and tomato. Excellent choice and presentation as well. The Sweet Potato fries are plentiful and crispy. No brown sugar or honey, which we preferred.
Waitstaff was friendly and always with a smile, even though they were shorthanded. Wait time for food was a little longer than we expected, however management is addressing this with a help wanted sign in the window and stepping in to assist their staff. -
