“We’ve been going to Olar for 10 years now and it is still our favorite restaurant in the world. We live close to 2hrs away now but still make the trek a few times a year. We’ve seriously never had another but amazing dishes here. I think the 1 star reviews because someone couldn’t get in are ridiculous. I understand frustrations, but if you know the reservation policy it’s pretty simple and well worth it. The owner and staff have always been so accommodating. Years ago when my wife was pregnant with our first child we swung by without a reservation just to see if they had a free table, knowing it would probably be in vein. They of course were full, but the owner offered us to sit at the bar which was fine by us. A few minutes later the owner comes over again and says he can’t let my pregnant wife sit at the bar and made a table for us. His kindness meant the world to us and made us fans for life. I wish them best of luck with the new location and we’ll be going back soon.”

“I love Northvale Diner. I’ve really only had positive experiences eating here. It’s a clean and spacious restaurant with great staff. Food is great, typical diner selections. Sometimes though if you go on a busy day, service might take a while, but it’s typically worth the wait. The servers are always very pleasant. My only complaint with this diner is, sometimes the desserts aren’t always that fresh. Last time I ordered the red velvet cake, it tasted weird—very artificial and fake, I guess you could say. Maybe it was a bad batch? Who knows. Overall I definitely recommend Northvale.”

“It is a great restaurant. As a person who was born and grew up in Greece I also think it is really authentic Greek cuisine. They have quite a few very traditional Greek dishes that you can't find easily in restaurants. The music is great, the service is excellent and the atmosphere reminded me of a Greek Tavern. The portions are also very generous. I highly highly recommend it.”

“Tremendous place to eat the most unhealthy food you can think of because, lets be honest, the salads suck. Big Macs and the best fries???????????????????????????????????????????????? out of any other fast food chain are the best things that they have to offer. I really wish they would advertise their seasonal items a little more. I am a huge fan of the shamrock shakes that are only available in march but it completely slipped my mind to get one for the year of 2018. I am disappointed that the apple pies went down hill so hard within the last couple years, i dont even order those things anymore. People talk smack about their chicken nuggets but i think they are tremendous. Some locations get stingy with the amount of sauces they give out, but i dont think this was one of them.”

“I was craving Korean fried chicken and found this on Google Maps. Surprisingly good Korean fried chicken! Pretty much on par with a Bonchon franchise location. Menu is a bit sparse (no fries or anything else really), but price is good, tastes good and really convenient location from Rockland County. I even ended up ordering a party platter at a recent gathering.”
