Son Ja Jang Restaurant 손짜장

This is a tough one, I want to give 5 stars. I really do.

From their hand pulled noodles (so good, texture is different than other Chinese restaurant noodles) to delicious tang soo took, this was our favorite place to go for the past 6 years.

From my last two visits, I’ve decided to find a new Chinese restaurant for our future cravings. It was just too... unsanitary.

Poorly vented interior, dirty wall, and over 10 fruit flies flying around, I’m a bit worried to see what could be happening in the kitchen. It wasn’t the first time where I saw all these flies.

Hope it gets better soon!

I'll start with a few phrases; "great bang for the buck," and "a great hole in the wall." I didn't know what to think when I first got here but the portions are great, price is great and foods is pretty great too!!! I highly recommend this place. I will be coming back, again and again.

The service was great, they helped us out with the menu and made things easier. Their black bean noodles were very good and the sweet and sour fried beef was delicious! I recommend them for sure.

They make their noodles fresh! I sat next to the kitchen window and enjoyed listening to them beat their noodles into submission.
The food is delightful and filling.

Best noodles and brown sauce in the area! Best spicy seafood noodle soup also! Get the combo and you can have a half portion of each! This is the only place in the area where you can see the guy in the kitchen actually making the noodles by hand. This is not a fancy place at all, so come in shorts and flip flops if you like, and don't expect any special service. Just go for the food. There is metered parking on the street and in the municipal lot behind the place.
