The food here is excellent!!!! No matter what you order you won't be disappointed. We come here everytime we are in the area. Owners are super friendly and fast with food. There's no alcohol though, but Ice tea etc.

I went to Smyrna today with a colleague for lunch. We are both particular about food and consider ourselves to be tough critics. The restaurant is small, quaint, and clean. It is minimally, but well-decorated and exudes a Mediterranean feel. We ordered the mixed appetizer and falafel to share, I had the gyro wrap. The spreads in the mixed appetizer was delicious and made with super fresh ingredients. The falafel was the best or second-best falafel I've ever had and I think the other one is Taim in SoHo to give you a point of reference. The bar was set extremely high based on the mixed appetizer and falafel, so I was worried for the gyro, but it continued to bring the same level of quality as the appetizers. (Sorry I only have a picture of the mixed appetizer as the food was so delicious, I got lost in the moment and forget to snap any more!) I'll end the review with a thought I had towards the end of my meal at Smyrna - I hit the local Mediterranean Jackpot! I look forward to my next and many more visits here. Recommend without reservation!

The food is very good and the atmosphere reminds me of being on Mediterranean coast. The only down side is that due to the open kitchen you leave smelling like food and I dont like to smelling like food when I leave

I have been there 4 times and it is consistently delicious. Very fine Turkish cuisine. His sauces and spreads are phenomenal. Spinach pie was like a pastry with fresh spinach. The chef told me his was self taught by watching his mother cook. Impressive presentation and unique flavors. Highly recommend.
