The Dog and Cask

I was really excited to go here for brunch but unfortunately we missed it. The website said they did it til 3 on sundays but when we got there they said it ended at 2. The rest of the menu seemed promising but we were all kind of underwhelmed and it was pricey. I think the bigger appeal of this place is the bar considering they have unique beers that are brewed specifically by the owner for this bar. Our server was also super friendly but at times seem to overstay his welcome at the table and it made us somewhat uncomfortable.

Modern-styled, subdued pub with some unique twists on usual bar fare (like coconut-curry hummus). We were part of a large party and ate off the catering menu, so some items were a little disappointing, like the steak frites cooked to well done, but serving a party of 70+ guests can be tricky. Otherwise, excellent service. Might revisit for date night if back in the area again.

Excellent food and drink. Inside of nicer than it looks from the outside. Good service, and be good for large parties. Well priced. Convenient to many places.

Stopped in on a relatively quiet weekday evening. Very solid bar. Excellent tap list - around 20 craft beers on tap, with a number of rate bottles to boot. Food was also quite tasty. Ambience was "upscale pub," similar to Midland Brew House, another local spot.

The Dog and Cask is a great casual place to enjoy drinks and food.

They offer a selection of craft beers that rotate on a regular basis. There is also a great selection of Whiskeys and craft cocktails.

The menu offers a variety of delicious selections from appetizers to sandwiches to entrees. The food is well prepared and delicious. The burger of the week is always a great choice. The 3 Cheese grilled cheese is delicious.

The environment is relaxing with table or bar seating available. There are a number of TVs in the main room so you can watch the game if you want. Side rooms allow for table seating in a slightly quieter experience.
