Delicious food. Decent service. No complaints.

From the ceviche to the fried pork pieces, the paella & skirt steak........ALL was delicious!!! DEFINITELY going back when in town! Service was great also!????

Mambo Tea House will exceed your expectations. This is a must visit establishment if you are in the Northern NJ area, especially in Rutherford. The staff, menu, environment is wonderful, It's a cozy place with great ambience, and the food.... beyond yum!

Because it's BYOB, you bring your own alcohol, but if do bring red wine, they will make sangria for you, which is nice. But I do recommend you get your own pot of tea. The menu is vast, and the sizes are fulfilling, so much so, you will have enough to share. The salads are good, as well as the plantains. The snapper entrée (picture below) is a must have. if you like rice dishes, you will enjoy what Mambo has to offer. The restaurant caters to families and children, but it's also nice for couples. I really can't find anything wrong with Mambo. Also the prices are reasonable, especially when it comes to their seafood and beef dishes.

The one downside is finding parking, but don't let that deter you. Mambo Tea House is now on my list of must patronize restaurants, especially if I want a nice meal with a friendly staff. Love this place!

This has been my second time here with my fiance and the food is excellent. We had the Paella as the main course, and it was excellent. The guava and cheese empanada was a great closer. I recommend you visit and enjoy the comfortable atmosphere and the food good!
