The Humble Toast

One of the best restaurants I've ever been in great service!! not too expensive. and tasty food They make you feel comfortable and child friendly

We just enjoyed a lovely and tasty dinner. Staff was very friendly (shout out to Alex) We were particularly impressed when one staff member asked my daughter if she finished her food and when she responded yes he came back with a dessert on the house for all of us to share. We will definitely be going back!

Good food for a good price. I went to this restaurant for lunch and I had a very nice experience. The prices are very reasonable and the food is solid. The house cured meats are the star of this restaurant, make no mistake, and I would focus my attention there. The other things we tried were good, but somewhat common to the casual "elevated" fast food trend. I'd recommend a visit, especially for a cheat day meal.

Food was good, but they don't take food allergies seriously. You ask for water and you get cucumber water, no warning. My burger was supposed to be without lettuce (my weird allergy). It came with a mound of shredded lettuce. Explained a second time about the allergy. Burger came right back with most of the lettuce scraped off. Explained a third time that I needed a new burger. Burger came back about 1.5 minutes later (same burger, but they claimed it was new). Bottom of burger had shards of lettuce still on it. I scraped them off, scraped off the "humble sauce" (which I'd requested to be left off), took my allergy medicine and ate the burger. Didn't want to make my friend who chose the place feel bad, as she's kosher vegetarian. Almost fell asleep from the allergy med before the food was finished. Not a fun experience for me, though my husband, son, and friend enjoyed their food.

It started off slow with the hostess seating us. She was very unclear on how long it would take and just over explaining where we would be sat. But once we ordered the service was very good making sure we were happy with the food. The food was excellent between me and the two others people we had 2 extremely filling salads and an amazing burger. Overall room for improvement but it was great. And the owner is an very nice and helpful host
