    Food was good and wait staff were very friendly but the service was Very slow. I dont need to a restaurant to to be speedy but i think waitstaff should be attentive and check in on you periodically. Anytime we needed something we had to flag down the waiter which took awhile.

    Pure, quality ingredients; everything homemade. This is the best Italian in the Tenafly-Cresskill area. Great service also.

    It was my first time there and everything was delicious. Its also nice that the Owner/Chef makes the rounds to see how everyone likes their meals. Will definitely be going back.

    Max restaurant is the best Italian food in tenfly.he uses less condiments in his cooking so you can taste what he makes. He's not only the owner but the chef as well.I would highly recommend this as everything on the menu is delicious and out-of-this-world made fresh.
