My family and I usually stick with Westwood classics like Jack’s Cafe or the Iron Horse, but tonight we wanted to try something different so when we saw the appealing menu of The Kitchen we decided to give it a shot! Immediately upon sitting down, however, we weren’t pleased. Open windows with no screens caused for some company in the form of flies. After that we were served our water... WARM water. In my whole life, I’ve never been served warm water. We all ordered pasta dishes (penne and spaghetti), and when the dishes came out, our reaction was “where’s the rest of it?” The food was actually very good but not for the price we paid. If they’re going to cut the size of the portion they should cut the price of it as well. To top it all from we had to ask for bread... that’s a nit pick but I just feel like we shouldn’t have had to ask. Oh yeah, and try and get a container for Parmesan cheese and not serve it in a plastic dipping cup.
