(January 20, 2017, 3:54 pm)Dear Google, This place has not closed, it has changed ownership (and has a new name, "Stray Cat"). But it is essentially the same place, with a slight makeover, roasting and brewing the same brand of coffee (Moon Doggie).
I'm writing this here because your feedback form is inadequate. -

(July 26, 2013, 7:36 pm)I've heard of Moon Doggie over several years and decided to visit during a trip to NYC (it's not far). Their coffee is the best. Freshly roasted. The shop is quaint and full of interesting things. It's on a lovely street. The owners are one of the nicest couples I've ever met. They were funny and warm. We had two children with us and they were treated like family - catered to with appropriate drinks since they obviously don't drink coffee. Best of all, they donate time and money to worthy causes. We left with bags of wonderful coffee purchased to enjoy at home - and will be ordering online regularly.
