Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

So this place recently opened up in my area (Burlington, NJ), and everyone was talking bout it, and being I love to eat and try new things, I went. I ordered the chili cheese hotdogs, and hubby got a burger and fries (pictures below). Hot dog looked great and tasted great as well. They give it to you on garlic bread/bun type of thing, if you can understand that, lol. It's very tasty and hot! Hubby's burger was on point, very will seasoned, and mad juicey! Now the fries were very disappointing. Their fries remind me of the pixie stick potatoes we used to eat back in the day that came in the big blue can. Unique ideal but not pleasant at all at 11:03am just right after you start to serve lunch. They definitely should have been hot! All in all, it's a nice place, and it could be worth the price if they just changed a few things, like the size of the hot dog to bun ratio and a little more fries being that they are like sticks. But I'd definitely go back and true other things. 👍👍

I haven’t been doing five stars for many places lately. This place was well organized and friendly. The food was amazing. We got the Number 1 Freddy’s classic steak burger and the Freddy’s double bacon steak burger. The shoe string fries were also worth the trip. The fries were lightly seasoned. Whatever they use on the fries taste great.

We topped it off with their staple ice cream. Brownie Sundae and Strawberry Banana custom sundae.
Great meal for the price $21 bucks for the meal.

Got to try this place just to taste the steak burger. If you like steak and you like burgers this is your place to visit!!

I went through the drive through and the person taking my order was very nice. There was a minor issue when the lady at the food pick up window tried to give me someone else's food but it was fixed very quickly.

I upgraded the fries in my meal to chili cheese fries for $1.50 and I think they were the best part of my meal. I had the double jalapeno burger and the jalapenos and burger sauce were only on maybe 25% of the burger on one side. The burger was fine but it didn't stand out to me for the parts that had no sauce.

This was my first time trying Freddys Steakburgers. I ordered the Double Bacon Cheeseburger, fries and a soda. Service was courteous and fast. The steak burger was delicious, but the fries were terrible. If you want to be a successful burger joint you better have good fries. The shoestring fries are first way to thin for my liking. They also put garlic powder on their fries which is disgusting. I can’t stand garlic powder. It totally made a terrible fry into a totally inedible fry. Who the hell puts garlic powder on French fries? I definitely won’t be back for that simple reason. Plenty burger joints around that have great fries. The price point was good though.
