Garbanzo Mediterranean Fresh

Absolutely amazing place. We often order from here. Our dinner tonight was neatly packed and delicious. We ordered a chicken rice bowl and their signature stuffed pita. Both the items were perfectly made. All the ingredients tasted really fresh, specially the meat in my bowl which was tender, juicy and flavorful.
Highly recommend their baklava!!

Was looking forward to the opening of this place but unfortunately the food is really mid.
The portion sizes are embarrassing for the price. They load the bowl with 3/4 rice to leave room for a tiny spoon of each topping.
You'll walk away full of the cheapest ingredient to produce. The meat was on the cold side, and the entire bowl itself was almost room temperature so we had to heat it up even though it had just been served. The flavors were just ok - very weak seasoning and just not very flavorful across the board. Don't think it's worth it in the end.

The service could use some work, but at least the food somewhat made up for it. We came to Garbonzo about a week after they opened and were a bit surprised that the staff was not friendlier. They were not outwardly rude - just not particularly friendly and were a bit short with their responses. Some of them also did not seem very knowledgeable about the food/restaurant (didn't know if brown rice was an option, didn't know how the app worked, forgot our pita bread, etc.), which was a bit frustrating because they had to keep checking with we each other to produce answers, which took awhile. The most glaring issue was that they're very stingy with toppings! Perhaps it's restaurant policy, but for the price, I would expect to get a bit more food in the rice bowl. There was barely any meat, and I had to ask for a little extra for some of the other ingredients (i.e., I asked for garbanzo beans, and they literally picked out 5-6 beans...). This is a new spot, so perhaps they'll grow and improve over time, but the start was definitely slow...

The shaky service had me worried about the food itself. However, I was pleased to find that the food was still pretty good. Even though the bowl was barely half full, the ingredients worked well together and tasted fresh. I was surprised that I was actually full after my last bite! The pita bread was also big and fluffy, which was a great surprise because I'm used to the pita bread at places like this being smaller. The fries were also delicious and seasoned very well!

Overall, the positive outweighs the negative, and I would definitely come back here! Hopefully, the service improves by then!

Fresh, delicious food delivered promptly.

We each enjoyed our gyros. His with traditional gyro meat, mine was chicken. The pita was warm and amazing. The meats were well seasoned the veggies and sauce was great. Feta cheese, what can you say? It all worked together to create a satisfying meal.
