The Chicken Or The Egg

This place is what we need. Something fresh and great vibes. The food n drinks was good. It came out fast n hot. Definitely a plus to come back because you can get anything at anytime. This is great when you in the mood for anything outside the normal breakfast or lunch hours.

First time coming to The Chicken or the Egg. It’s right by my doctors office so very convenient location I am very close. I love the outside area for summer time that will be a big hit when summer time comes. We waited a half hour. Came in the restaurant around 6:21pm the staff said it would have been another 20-25 mins and they said they guess a wait time which is very unprofessional. A lot of customers were complaining about that from what I heard from the actual customers behind me. The lady showed us how many people were ahead of us about 10 people and then the next 5 mins we were called which was really weird, but okay. It’s big and roomy in the restaurant the bar was crowded. It’s very loud and the music is loud could be a little less loud.

Me, My Mom & Sister shared the Chicken Nachos they were the best really good with chicken. I ordered breakfast and so did my sister. I got the build your own omelete with American cheese xtra and mushrooms. It was okay not the greatest but good. My moms French onion soup she said was sweet. My sister got the Jersey Devil she said she got it before and it was good.

Dessert: Brownie Sundae w/walnuts. We all loved it and shared it. I recommend trying it so good. I seen people get milkshakes but for $6.99 in a little mason jar I don’t know how I feel about that price. I can’t wait to try there wings. We sat close by the kitchen door area and a lot of dropping of things and glass. I never want to sit near that area again. Overall good experience can’t wait to come again in the warmer weather. 😊

Had to try this new place out with my daughter and her friend. Had breakfast for dinner and the food was excellent. We also had the fudge brownie for dessert, which was yummy. They have some cool drinks, which were also great. Not sure what the one or two review who have low stars are talking about. As soon as we were seated Jenn our waitress was right over to greet us. She was a superstar waitress!! She was bubbly, smiling, upbeat and fast with everything. Order was taken promptly, food came out fast, she followed up every few minutes. Excellent waitress!! The music playing was so good we wanted to get up and dance. I can’t wait for the outside to open.

For those who posted low reviews, maybe try them again. They’ve only been open a few days and it appears the bugs are now worked out. The restaurant business is hard and low reviews aren’t good so it might be fair to give them another try so your rating can improve.

I’m so happy they decided to open a Marlton location. Every Summer I visit the Jersey shore location because I am obsessed with their chicken wings.

I had the chance to visit the Marlton location and while the service needs some work (no surprise because they just opened).. the wings were cooked to perfection & satisfied my cravings. The menu is extensive with so many options - including breakfast options served all day. I’ll definitely be coming back for brunch in the near future!

I was so thrilled when I read an article from 42Freeway today that this location had finally opened!! I dropped everything and ran over for dinner after work! My boyfriend and I frequent the location in Beach Haven and we were so excited for this one to open, as it is much closer for us and we can get our Chegg fix year round! Not sure what the negative reviews I’ve seen are about — I don’t agree with them at all. They JUST opened, there are ALWAYS going to be kinks with new restaurants and we expected that might be the case walking in, but it wasn’t AT ALL — everything was WONDERFUL! No problems at all! Only a 25 minute wait just a few days after opening — we couldn’t believe it! The food was HOT and absolutely delicious!!! We ordered four different cocktails, they were all fantastic, too! I especially loved the Captain Late Night! Our waitress Brittany was super sweet and attentive. Start to finish, the entire experience was great. And the restaurant itself is GORGEOUS! Absolutely took my breath away. It’ll be so much fun in the summer, too with the outdoor area!!! I have no complaints and I cannot wait to go back very soon!!! I have a feeling I’ll be spending a lot of time there! :-)
