Monterey Grill

The food was absolutely delicious and the service was impeccable. Best crab cakes I have ever had. My husband loved the short ribs. The staff is truly superb. My husband ordered a salad and the ratio of lettuce was a little heavy on the frisee…our waitress, Patches noticed he was picking around it and there was an amazing immediate “SWAT” team including manager Alex that whisked it away and presented him with a new salad…he wasn’t even complaining about it! Wonderful dining experience. The recommended bread pudding was to die for. My only disappointment was the coffee is on the weaker side….but hardly a bump in a perfect evening.

If you're looking for a wonderful date night spot in the South Jersey area, Monterey grill is the answer. As a steakhouse, Monterey grill has a wonderful selection of prime cuts and has satisfying sides. Couple great food with a great bottle of wine (and there are many to choose from) they will no doubt deliver for a perfect night out.

I have been looking forward to trying the Monterey Grill in Mt. Laurel, after reading the great reviews. They did live up to the hype. Beautiful, classy ambiance with live jazz music for brunch on Sundays. We sat at the bar and had exceptional service. The manager even came over to introduce himself and welcome us. Drinks at the bar were delicious. I had an orange crush that was so fresh and tasted like I got it from Maryland. Avocado toast was one of the best I have had. Usually, it can be bland, but that is not the case here. Red onions and bacon lardons add so much flavor. Poached eggs cooked perfectly 👌. Homefries are crispy and delicious. My husband enjoyed his wagyu burger and said it was very flavorful and juicy. We will definitely be back. I look forward to trying Happy Hour and dinner. The seafood entrees look amazing. A server recommend the seafood tower that I just might have to try 😋

finally got to visit for valentine’s day! everything was absolutely amazing all thanks to our incredible waiter Dante. from the start he was extremely attentive and through the whole meal made sure everything was perfect! the drinks were almost too good.. but the burrata was the star of the show. definitely my favorite dish of the night. for being a vegetarian at a steak house i felt very accommodated for .. we will most definitely be back very soon!

We were delighted to find this lovely restaurant during our stay at Aloft Mount Laurel, to which it is attached. Their menu included a delicious vegan option, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Without reservations on a Friday night, we sat in the bar section of the restaurant, and were happy that it turned out that way, because we got to enjoy some great music by a local band which was performing, CTO Philly Collective Soul. We would definitely eat here again.
