Montero's Pizza

Listen up Pizza people WE GOT ONE INOUR TOWN. I had the opportunity to have a real pizza experience. I live in Westville NJ and we have pizza store on every corner in a small town. BUT, Montero's just took over. We got a Thursday night special large cheese and 10 wings for $19.00, Grilled chicken creaser salad. The pizza sauce, if i am allowed to call it that.. LOL Or gravy? Dont kick me, but the sauce is BUSSIN. That means good yall.. LOL The owner had a chit chat with me and let me know thats a 200 year old Italian family recipe and NO ONE around here can come close. I put his pizza up against ANYONE, ANYONE.. Thin crust, crispy HOT.. and the WINGS.. I got Garlic parm wings. BUSSIN. fried hard and he has his OWN HOMEMADE HOT SAUXCE. SO Good SO Good.
But what really makes them special, while i was asking about the store he showed me were they have something called PAY IT FORWARD MEALS. You can donate a slice or soda or meal, they ring it up and Tape the receipt along the counter and if someone is on hard times they can walk up and act like they are looking at a soda and grab ticket so they wont feel embarrassed. THAT PUT THEM OVER THE TOP WITH ME. Please help me with congratulating them and thanking them for moving here. Please help support them they matter around here.. SCRAMZ5

Monteros Pizza is relatively new. Ordered a few times since they opened up a few months ago and haven't been disappointed at all. Gotten pizza twice, cheesesteak and a breakfast sandwich and it was all delicious and not expensive. They are next to Ray-Bets liquors. Definitely better food than the pizza shop that was there before.

Peggy was super sweet and the food was great! I’m guessing they use another cheese (in addition to mozzarella) for their pizza, which gives it a stronger flavor and more authentic Italian taste. We also enjoyed their mozzarella cheese fries, which reminded me of the ones they used to have at Penn Pizza back in the day.

My Italian American heart is so happy. I’m a little bit of a pizza snob. I moved to the area about 4 years ago, and the pizza around here has just been ok. Decided to give Montero’s a try for a late lunch and OMG it’s absolutely perfect. Excellent pizza! Friendly staff too. Will definitely be back.

A sincere, friendly & approachable gentleman stopped my man and me in the Heritage area in Gloucester City asking if we'd care to try a free sample slice of their pizza. It was so YUMMY we made sure to stop by there for another slice for dinner. My man had plain and I went w meatball topping on my slice. Everything is made fresh, from scratch & is beyond satisfying. 10 outta 10 definitely recommend!!! 🎯
