I feel like I went to Jamaica and got a one box food from a cook shop . One a the best Jamaican food I’ve had in the U.S so far . The Mac and cheese was okay, but Mac and cheese is not a Jamaican dish so I’m not really complaining . Everything else Jerk, rice and peas, cabbage was great . AUTHENTIC 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
Delicious food and amazing portion sizes, very nice and patient employees. I got the stewed chicken and cabbage it was very good very hearty and tasty. The cabbage had an amazing texture and a little spice, enough to just warm the tongue. Also tried the jerk chicken and it was very nicely cooked it was very smokey and flavorful. The sauce had the perfect amount of heat. Will definitely be going back. Also, the menu doesn’t show all the food they offer so call and ask if you are looking for something. The woman at the counter stated they were going to get new menus printed.
You should go try it out.
I had the jerk chicken lunch special which is served daily and comes with 2 sides for $10. I chose mac and cheese and sweet plantains. The food was DELICIOUS!!!! I also had the Oxtail platter with rice and peas and cabbage and that was good as well. Looking forward to coming back soon
We ordered the brown stew chicken and fried snapper. They were both delicious. The chicken is fall off the bone tender with good flavor. The snapper was fried well, enough food for leftovers the next day. The young lady behind the counter was very pleasant and answered our questions regarding the food. I will be returning.
