Macona BBQ

I was really happy with everything I had and would make my way back. The only gripe I have is that the platter seemed a bit small. Also, I really like a nice sized cornbread but same thing, kinda small. Other than that, the hype is real----the taste is a winner. The inside is a bit small and makes you feel like you eat and go all within a 45 max window timeframe.

I'm pretty picky about BBQ and haven't been to this great of a BBQ place in awhile. I ordered the 3 meat platter with Pulled Pork, Brisket, and Ribs and everything was great. The Corn bread is among the best corn bread I have had from anywhere. The beans were also fantastic and so was the potato Salad.

We spoke with the owner and he's very dedicated to producing a high quality product. We then tried the Mac n Cheese which was different and also a very special offering. It's definitely something you could picture on a menu of a very pricey restaurant.

We will definitely be back many times.

Food is AMAZING!! Just make sure to get there early because they do run out. I honestly can’t pick a favorite because it’s all good. The can say that no matter what I get, I have to get the cornbread. I’m from the south and it’s the best cornbread I’ve ever had.

The owners are amazing people as well. Super friendly and accommodating. 10/10 would recommend.

Had the 5 different meats and they were all super awesome. Brisket was phenomenal. Chef even came out to ask how it was. Byobas well. Would highly recommend to anyone who likes true BBQ, which is hard to find on the east coast.

Had the pulled pork and brisket with mashed potatoes and deviled eggs. All the food was really great along with their sauces. We got to try a test run of mac and cheese as well which was on point. Each meat option has it's own flavor which rotates, so you can always get something new. The owners were super friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend for eat in or take out!
