Max's Seafood Café

Nice venue. Fair menu but limited choices. Waitstaff decent.

Max's has a really good happy hour, with great food at really affordable prices, with quality drinks at a slight discount.

I would think there'd be more people there, but there are other places that really compete for the happy hour crowd, and I don't get that feeling here. It's a much more relaxed crowd that comes in, and not so much a group you kids looking to prime their pumps before they go somewhere else to keep their drinking going.

Great and friendly bartender there, too, who also doubled as our server. Good job, John!

Seafood was awesome! Fantastic ambiance in a neighborhood where you wouldn’t expect it. Servers very nice, but be prepared to have a paced and relaxing evening as the entrees were a tad slow. But that was ok by us as the live music was super!

This place has amazing food at a reasonable price, a friendly staff, and a very warm atmosphere. Try the kale salad with apples, blue cheese, candied walnuts, craisins and apple cider vinaigrette. It is a huge portion and so delicious! Their entrees are all great, but my favorite is their creamy butternut squash risotto with asparagus, jumbo shrimp and lump crab, which was a special. I'm hoping the owner reads this and adds it to the regular menu so I can order it all the time! :)

If you are in the area and have a craving for some great seafood, I suggest you check this place out! You will not be disappointed!

One of the best places to eat.. From the time i walked in loved the live band.. I especially had a great waitress. She was very sweet and couldn't have been more in point. She introduced herself. Her name was Brianna. The food was served very hot which shows there's no waiting from kitchen to your table... Great place to eat... Will be back again and hopefully Brianna is going to be my waitress again.
