Lamp Post Diner

You cannot lose going to this diner. Today I had the egg battered French toast with link sausages. They gave 3 large pieces of toast cut in half so I had 6 half slices. I ate 4. My boyfriend ate the rest after he had a hearty meal of eggs, sausages, home fries and toast. We LOVE this place

The service was great. The food even better.
It was insanely busy but that speaks volumes of the quality. It is definitely is a family oriented place. My only issue was I had a Lemon Meringue pie and it was not so good. ???? The desserts look amazing maybe I’ll try something different and it will be a better experience.

I love this place! The selection is great and the staff is friendly. I have not had a single bad experience here. Easily one of my favorite diners in Jersey.

Though the parking lot was crowded, we were quickly seated, and warmly greeted by the host and our waitress. Food was reasonably priced, and they accommodated my need to have lunch during breakfast hours (not all diners will do this). And to top it all off, when I spilled something on my shirt, the waitress was thoughtful enough to bring me some seltzer water and napkins, without me even asking. Great place. Great food. Great service. Would definitely recommend.

New ownership....the lamp post is our most favorite local Diner. Their breakfast menu is perfectly sized and always delicious. they have great coffee and their lunch and dinner menu is also very expanded and delicious. portions are always large. today we were greeted by one of the managers named Mark. he was extremely pleasant and offered us eating options which we've never had been offered there before. our server Denise was excellent. her attention to detail was amazing. she went above and beyond to make sure that we had a great experience. if you haven't eaten there already you really need to try it. Ask for Mark and Denise.
