Went on a Friday. The place was packed, which is a good sign that the food must be good. It was! I was worried service was going to be slow because they were so crowded, and had an engagement party crowd there too, and we were headed over to Philly for the KISS concert. I'm glad I was wrong! The food came out timely. Crab-stuffed mushrooms were awesome. Chicken cacciatore was delicious, and their tuna appetizer was to die for! All in all we were very glad we picked Rexys for our pre-concert meal. Highly recommend.

Rexy's is a local staple since 1943. The interior was completely remodeled over 10 years ago with minor changes & improvements to create a beautiful Tuscan interior with a true Italian family restaurant atmosphere. The food is superb and cooked to order with Rexy's signature pizza that's legendary for decades. Moderately priced with large portions .. always a fantastic time by all. Young and old, dinner or birthdays, this is the place to be!!

This was our second time visiting Rexy’s . It was as good as our first time and won’t be our last. We traveled 30 minutes to come here.
We came without a reservation on Valentine’s weekend and were seated after a brief wait. We ordered the Tuscan plate as an appetizer along with cocktails, a chocolate martini and an nutcracker old fashioned. My wife enjoyed the pan seared ravioli special and I had the veal prosciutto from the regular menu. Everything was prepared just right. We left room for a shared dessert of lemon cake.
This is a gem of a restaurant with good food , attentive staff and very active management. I highly recommend Rexy’s. This particular evening they had a jazz duo performing which added to the evening. I hope they will be back.

I'll start by saying that several family and friends go here regularly and it is highly recommended by them. This was our first time visiting and it looks very promising. The parking lot was very crowded and the place itself had a very warm, inviting feel. The staff was extremely inviting and very professional. All of the menu options look enticing. The bread basket that they started us off with was very disappointing. We were hoping for a crusty Italian bread but instead the bread has a heavy density, almost like a cake like texture and very little flavor. We tried dipping in the olive oil, cheese and pepper seads that were provided on the table and it would have been delicious with the proper bread but this certainly was not. We each had a glass of white Zinfandel and that was excellent. We decided to split an assortment of appetizers, four in total, one of which was very good. The cheesesteak egg rolls were well-done along with fried onions and ketchup for dipping. We tried the eggplant meatballs and I thought it was pretty good my lovely lady wasn't as fond of it. We ordered fried mozzarella appetizers and the presentation was quite beautiful but the breading was devoid of any flavor at all. The first order was undercooked but they immediately gave us the remainder to take home and the manager brought us out a fresh plate. We were quite astonished at the lack of flavor of these fried mozzarella bites. Noticing that the crowd tended to be older I don't know if they shy away from spices but it was completely lacking in flavor. My lovely lady ordered mussels that she had good experiences with some other restaurants served in a wine sauce. these mussels had a lovely presentation but were all devoid of any flavor, several were not opened and they had a sandy texture which indicated to her that they were not cleaned properly. I was unaware of what she thought about it until after we left the restaurant otherwise I would have brought it to their attention and had given them a chance to have corrected it. I do not know if we caught them on a bad night but there are so many people we know that have recommended this place I'm willing to give them another try. Hopefully my next visit will not be as disappointing. That being said the staff had such an air of competence that I'm sure, had I brought it to their attention, they would have addressed the shortcomings accordingly.
