Wilson's Restaurant & Live Music

We went On January 14th and the music was awesome the food was awesome and the drinks were awesome. We loved it and would recommend it to anyone who likes live jazz music. You no longer have to drive over the bridge to those restaurants in Philadelphia you can enjoy some good jazz in South Jersey.

Since it was a over 40 crowd ask the DJ to play more eighties and nineties dance music and not to mix so much just play the song all the way through.

Since it is only 7 minutes from my house I'm planning to go back in 2 weeks and have already told several people about it.

I'm going to support this place because it is black owned and it is very convenient for me and very professional staff. Top notch service and the MC was pretty cool as well. The facilities were top notch and clearly someone spent a lot of money and time on upgrading this location and they have a lot to be proud of.

Everything was amazing and awesome and stupendous just ask the DJ to play the songs all the way through and not mix the record so much so we can dance.

I LOVE the venue and live band. It’s nice to have a local place in jersey that offers live music, and not have to travel to Philly. The food was really good, but came out cold. And I could tell that I just came on a really busy night and maybe you guys were short staffed because the wait for drinks and food was very long. I’d also like to mention that when buying the tickets online, it states that purchasing tickets reserves you a table, but when we got there, we were told that there were no tables available. We opted to sit at the bar, and were told that we could order food there, but when we asked the bartender if we could order, she stated that they were too busy and would have to come back to take our order. Other than that, I would say everything else was great. One of my favorite places to travel to is New Orleans, and it definitely gave me that vibe with the food and live music. Will definitely come again, and congrats on your new business! I will continue to support.

This Venue is AWESOME and the staff is very professional. The owners Mame & Mark Wilson have put a Club here in South Jersey for Jazz lovers as well as amazing Art. Norman Connors and MARVA KING put on a Fantastic show.

We met our friends here for a few drinks and appetizers at our friends request. We had never been there as we are from Atlantic City. From the minute we walked in the door, we received first class treatment. The hostess greeted us and gave us a quick run down of the restaurant. We then went to the bar and had some drinks while waiting for our friends to arrive. Our bartender was outstanding! She was extremely friendly and professional, and although the bar wasn’t crowded, she gave us plenty of attention. Our friends arrived and we were seated at a nice table.
We ordered some appetizers and more drinks. The mussels, shrimp cocktail and wings were all fabulous! As we were eating, the owner came around and introduced himself and gave us a round of drinks. He was very interesting and a pleasure to talk to. It seemed like this was our regular bar and we knew him for years . Our one friend that we met there was a singer and jokingly said to him, I’ll sing since you don’t have any band tonight. The next thing we know, one of the workers, wheeled out a set up for our friend to sing, and they allowed her on stage to sing a few songs, which really made her night. The highlight of the night was when the employee that wheeled out the microphone and speaker sang a few of her own. This woman’s name was Capri, and I don’t know what she is doing working at a restaurant! She was unbelievable! She sang Etta James as well as Etta herself. She should be headlining someone. Hopefully she will be singing in the club herself. Our whole experience was outstanding from start to finish. Although I live pretty far away, I will be sure to make this our regular stop.
