Gena and the quality of food are both exceptional! very happy to have an authentic pizzeria right around the corner. Best sauce(gravy) around. Freshest food we have had in a long time!
This place stands out. I have never had a place call to say my order was ready before and I was so shocked I could barely respond when I got a call saying it was done. The owner, Gena, greeted us as we walked in and entertained my wild 3 year old while I paid. The service was so good I probably would have been back even if the food wasn’t good, but the food was indeed good. So I can’t wait to be back to try more.
The roast beef is made in-house, very low and slow. The beef was so juicy and perfectly tender. They place it on a soft and chewy Amoroso roll with spinach, provolone, garlic, oil, and long hots. I love garlic, I can't have enough garlic, and it came out ever so complimentary in this sandwich. Along with the slight heat from the long hot, I was doing the Mark Wiens heavenly eye roll. I was alone in my house, but I was looking around like the food ranger trying to find someone to give a thumbs up to with the patented "ohhh mmmm yummm." All my traveling eater vloggers jokes aside, this sandwich was everything I thought it was going to be and more!
For the lunch special, it came with a small side of fries, which were pillowy and soft with a nice crunch, even after my 15-minute drive home.
I hear this spot makes some killer pizzas, garlic knots, wings, and more. I hope to get back there again soon to try more of their offerings!
First time here. Meet the owner. She was very nice and polite. Got two cheesesteaks and fries. They both were delicious. Melt in your mouth bread which makes any sandwich. Fries reminded me of Burger King crunchy but tasty which I love. If I didn’t live a few miles away this would be my go to place. Will be back soon
The wait time was a little extended, BUT that’s okay. Everyone has to understand , that as a business especially in the food industry. People are short staffed, and making food could be time consuming. And that’s anywhere you go. At least, the person making your food is cooking with love, patience, and are working super hard . So everyone should learn how to be patient with them ! Anywho, They have a great variety of different things to pick from. I ordered fried pickles, which I’ve never had. But, I can say it was a tremendous first experience :) Garlic knots were different from other locations, typically they are small but these garlic knots were huge AND tasty . And it’s good to stand out from other businesses. For the pizza we ordered a Sicilian style Magnolia Pizza. The pizza was not too seasoned but I’d say for me that is perfect ! My family did like the wings, I’m not a fan of BBQ but they said they were great . And I believe the owner is who I talked to, she was very open and sweet. Great job on bringing a great great pizza shop to the area !:)
