Friendly staff. Large restaurant with a great salad bar. Has been here for ages so you know that they are doing something right. Known for their prime rib and steaks. Fresh bread was welcomed. Also happy hour starts at noon for everyone who has had a rough morning :)

First timer here. Had no real expectation, except that it was just as good as one of my favorite restaurants with a much more casual atmosphere. Well, I'm not do sure it was cheaper, but oh my, the decor was like stepping out of the 50s! Very clean, but so very retro. Food was good, service was attentive and the manager even came over to ask how our meal was

This is one of my favorite places to eat. This time I had the prime rib. Grilled medium rare, it was outstanding. Try not to fill up at the salad bar to save room for the generous cut of beef. Our server Jeremy was on point. Go, you won't be disappointed.

Very pleasant lunch experience! We arrived about noon and were seated promptly. The dining area is a very large room which felt warm and comforting on a chilly winter day.
I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with cheddar cheese and bacon. It included lettuce and tomato, with French fries.
The sandwich was excellent: tender, moist chicken and crispy bacon on a delightful roll (I always wanted to say that, lol.) The French fries were hot and addictive. The sandwich would have been big enough to share, so I brought half of it home.
I will definitely return. The chicken sandwich was the first item on the menu and there are lots of other items to try.

Stepping into the The Pub is like stepping into a time capsule. I went there as a child with my parents and from my recollections it looks exactly the same. The decor and the enormous bar are a throwback for sure. They still have the open grills that look like fireplaces for cooking steaks. The salad bar is filled with delicious items such as mushroom salad, homemade cranberry relish and cornbread to name a few. All the traditional salad bar items are there also. The lunch time salad bar offers chicken and tuna salad as well. Dinner does not they but add other items to round it out. The steaks and sandwiches are really very good. Last time I was there I had the prime rib. It was enormous. I ate it that night and my husband and I shared what was left for dinner another night at home. The Pub is a wonderful date for lunch or night for dinner "out". And if you visited it as a kid or even when you were dating years ago, give it another try for old times sake. You will not be disappointed and you will be able to enjoy the ambiance even more.
