“It pains me to write this review as I have always loved Villa Russo, and I do believe that they have excellent food. They still have some of the best pizzas locally. However, their ability to get orders right is absolutely abysmal. Let me make this very clear: even if you make your order as explicit as possible, if it consists of anything more than 2 or 3 menu items, you’re bound to receive something wrong on your order. That being said, they’re good about making things right, and the owner is easily one of the nicest guys around, but their “ability” to mix up orders has become so consistent lately, I just assume I won’t get entirely what I asked for. It gets tiring and frustrating, and I genuinely hope that they are able to somehow streamline their ordering process to make things more accurate in the future.”

“So... I almost died eating here. I had my kids for Christmas and I was about to leave town to take them back to Michigan. My brother asked if I wanted to stop by one last time to say goodbye to him and my niece. We meet at the mall and he asks if I wanted his leftover rice. I take a bite and it's the best fried rice I have ever had. At this point I start to shovel the remaining rice into my fat mouth... hardly chewing. At this point, I have a huge ball of rice packed in my throat. I can barely breathe. I go to the closest place to buy something to drink.... I manage to choke out... "Snapple.... Apple..." The people working there get this panicked look on their faces as I try to drink to get the remaining food down... I start burping and tears of pain come to my eyes as I finally start to breathe right... gulping for air... I look at the guys that gave me the Snapple and say ..."... ahhh.... Thank... you..." and walk away... the look of absolute horror in their eyes was priceless... 10 out of 10... I'd try to kill myself on that rice again...”

“Charley's is a place located in the Cherry Hill Mall food court. I went there last week after my Doctor's appt. They make subs, french fries, etc. I ordered a chicken cheese steak sub sandwich. They put mushrooms, green peppers, lettuce, provolone cheese and onions (if you wanted onions) on it. They hooked it all up on the grill and let me tell you, this sub sandwich was "FANTASTIC". Sooooo good. Definitely worthy of the five star rating I gave them. Can't wait to go back again!!!!”

The cashier takes one order at a time and has to then retrieve the food and provide it to the customer which can easily be rectified by hiring one more person. Several mistakes were made on several people's orders both inside and from the drive-through which further slowed the line down. I used to go to Wendy's a lot more but since this system of one person taking the order and dishing out the food started I stopped going as much and this is the exact reason why.”

“Initially, I gave Tortilla Press Cantina two stars. I'm revising my review after revisiting the restaurant. Chef Mark contacted me via email regarding my initial review. He didn't just offer my husband and me a complimentary meal. He really listened to our experience, and worked to resolve the issues within the restaurant. I'm really impressed. This is someone who cares, not only about his business, but about his customers. He did offer us an opportunity to return to the restaurant as a type secret shopper, for a complimentary meal. The difference between our first and second dining experience was like night and day. The changes he made showed. Our server was polite, attentive, and the food was delicious. We weren't sitting with empty glasses. And, while we did visit during the week rather than a weekend, I'm confident that the service would've been just as good had it been the weekend. So, thank you, Chef Mark. Our second visit was a much more enjoyable experience!”

“Had received publicity about St. Patrick's week specials at Marco's and the salmon drew me in. This was my first time at Marco's. Was wowed by how delicious my entire meal was. The salmon with honey glaze was perfect, as were the broccoli (not almost raw, as many chefs unfortunately cook vegetables these days) and the potato pancakes. I love potato pancakes and don't often find them on menus as a side to an entree. The salad was super-fresh, containing a nice variety of greens and purples plus cucumber slices and grated carrot. Even the garlic bread that showed up before the entree was excellent: hot, tasty, and toasted to a golden brown -- not burnt, as so often happens in other restaurants. My appreciation to the chef. I'll be back. (I'm a former newspaper restaurant reviewer, so I've eaten at a lot of places and Marco's stands out.)”
