Excellent food BYOB this is the place. The locals go to in west cape may reasonable pricing and good service. You can expect a long wait any weekend once the summer starts. The only observation is this is a very noisy restaurant due to the acoustics once you have a crowd the noise is based on High ceilings and the fact that this was a converted church. Well worth the wait the have created a small downstairs bar area with seating for the guests to wait for tables don't forget this is a byob you can have your own cocktail downstairs and enjoy your guests. We visited again this Spring 2019 and the quality of the food is excellent with generous sizes. You can easily share a meal, for two if you are ordering appetizers. Please note they do not take reservations, you can call in for a preferred reservation seating but this does not hold a table. If you are traveling with seniors, they have designated handicapped parking in the rear and a long gradual ramp for wheel chair or walker access. Don't forget that this is the sister restaurant to Segundos, which has recently been updated and offers excellent dining in a chic atmosphere.
It doesn't have to be Sunday for a Grandmother's style Sunday dinner!!! This is a regular for us as their food is fabulous from the whole fish to the pizza and even the kids meals. Highly recommend to become a staple during your Cape May vacation.
This has been a popular place for years, you will not be disappointed. Highly recommended!
Went there last night with friends who had never been there before. I have been there several times and it was always delicious. Three of us ordered the veal special. It sounded so wonderful. We were very disappointed. In the meal. The veal was ok but the spinach was not cooked and the mozzarella was cold on top. There was supposed to be tomatoes on it but there was none. The apps and bread were good and the other meal ordered was great. If you are to feature that special again please cook the spinach more and melt the cheese and add a bit more flavor to it. It really had no taste.
On our second trip to Cape May, we were looking for somewhere to eat off the beaten path. This place did not disappoint! Our waiter Dwayne was great! The bread is AMAZING! Our dinners were delicious and the portions were huge! Did I mention the bread was great?!? We will definitely be back next year!!!
