Blue Moon Pizza

My husband and I visited this place one evening of our vacation, as we were looking for just a casual dinner in between nights of upscale seafood. The pizza selection is impressive, and I had a hard time deciding because they all looked so good. We went with one of the white pizzas (Florentine), and it was excellent: satisfactorily cooked, with plenty of cheese and toppings. I have a serious gluten allergy, and was very pleased that the pizza was sent out uncut, with a clean pizza slicer, so we could be sure it was not contaminated during slicing. The size (12") is great for a gluten-free pizza. My husband and I were barely able to finish one pizza between us. We also shared a house salad, one of the two simple salads on the menu that were cheaper than the other salads, so I assumed it was probably a fairly small side salad. I was pleasantly surprised at the generous portion of that as well. There were plenty of fresh carrots, tomatoes, red onions, and olives in it. Finally, our service was OUTSTANDING; we had a very competent waitress who checked in often and clearly was extremely capable of taking care of a dining room on her own. This is a place we would visit again without hesitation. Cape May needs more affordable and casual eateries with great food like this.

Great spot for a quick lunch. Family owned and operated by the nicest family! Highly recommend the gluten free pizza and the gyro was also great!

We will be back

Stopped in on day 1 of vacation for lunch and have returned for lunch everyday since! The gluten-free pizza is amazing and salads are fresh. Extensive menu options (especially for gluten-free- it’s hard to decide!) at affordable prices. Excellent customer service - servers and staff are extremely accommodating, nice and welcoming. Will really miss it once we head home.

What a great menu. Everything sounded great and what we ordered really was. I had the eggplant Parmesan hero-it was outstanding and I’m an eggplant fan. They also had an outstanding gluten free menu. We had pizza, and a quesadilla. All delicious. The server Diana was great-she was one of the best servers we have had in a long time.
