    Had not been to the Inn in a few years. Went on our long weekend trip and it was the highlight of a weekend of great meals. From app to dessert great food and a great server to keep things pleasant.

    I love this little gem of a restaurant. 1st off Valet parking, which in this busy seaside town is a sweet extra. The gentleman who do this job, regardless of the weather are over the top professional. The Chef is just awesome, the foods are creative, beautiful to look at and the mixture of tastes and textures are amazing. I am a foodie and this place is on of my top choices to entertain clients and friends. It is always a treat, always a surprise to me how the food they serve, is so well prepared and presented, that time seems to stop from the first bite until the last.
    It's April 30th 2021 I went tonight with friends to celebrate a birthday. Just incredible our waiter Marco was awesome.The Washington Inn remains my favorite restaurant in Cape May. Yet again the food and service are incredible . My words are insufficient in describing what a wonderful experience

    Food was extraordinary. Seafood was fresh, cooked perfectly. Short ribs with papardelle was exquisite. Escargot appetizer was uniquely seasoned. Only complaint was 6 escargot but only 5 bread rounds. They also surprised us with complimentary dessert for our anniversary. Best restaurant in Cape May--HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

    Amazing staff and fantastic food. Not so easily impressed these days, but the Washington Inn exceeded all expectations. Highly recommended!!
    Devoured the crab cakes, some oysters and the filet and all were uniquely and equally delicious. The house roasted coffee and extensive wine list were also a wonderful surprise!
    What really separates it though is the service, difficult to articulate just how wonderful and genuine they all were.

    I’ll be back for sure...

    Superb! Everything about my meal was perfect! Our server was fantastic! Knowledgeable and friendly but also knew how to give us space to enjoy our meal. Food was absolutely delicious! It is obvious that they pay attention to every detail! I ordered the filet and it was cooked perfectly! I cannot wait to eat their again!
