They vibes and ambience here are stupendous. Great tropical beach feel with all the mature palm tree, white sand, and ocean waves! Drinks I thought were a little watered down, but because of the location and views I really didn't mind. At 7 pm they light the communal fire pit and you can sit around it sipping a cocktail on the sofa and hearing the waves crash in the ocean. I highly reccomend!
Very nice place, I love the idea of a bar on the beach and this being one of the few in the area it was an obvious choice. The staff was friendly and prompt, there was a lot of seating available and it did not feel cramped (though it was not exactly a poppin' night). The highlights were these bucket drinks they have, oh man, these things will mess you up and have you feeling great real soon. I only had one but it had me feeling just the right amount of inebriated as well as being quite delicious. The prices are reasonable too, coming from Queens, NY anyway. The bucket being only about $14 is an amazing deal.
Was here in the evening for a birthday party at the rental space near the bar. The fun continued at The Star after. For a Saturday night it was not crowded at all and it was a gorgeous, low humidity evening to enjoy such a venue. Plenty of seating, along with wonderful cabanas and fire pits to relax around. Family style games are laid out. The prices were okay, about what you would expect to pay. It really is a gorgeous setting and if you’re staying around the vicinity there isn’t a whole lot else to choose from so it’s worth a visit! Gorgeous setting, lighting, fun. It’s probably a beast in the heat or a hot night. But if the atmosphere is cooperating, GO!
Really like the beach vibe here. Unfortunately it was very windy the day we went. Definitely like to come back and have the full experience on a more pleasant day. Drinks were good. Atmosphere is great. Have live music on the beach with fire pits for rent though pretty expensive at $200/night. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for something unique on the jersey shore.
