Hands down the best doughnut I’ve ever had. Definitely worth the wait!

Whatever your pleasure browns has been doing the operation for a number of decades now. located at the end of the boardwalk this is a great place to check out no matter where you're located on the beach. They open early in the morning for donuts and serve ice cream all day as long as well. They also have a normal standard menu. There is not much parking if any so you need to find parking along the road sides near the restaurant.

I have been eating here every summer of my life and have had mostly great experiences. Most of the time, the people are very friendly, the service, and food are splendid, however my family was disrespected by an employee. Most of the staff recognizes us, as this is a very common spot for us to enjoy breakfast or lunch. An employee had asked where we were from and we mentioned that we were from West Virginia. She snickered and remarked that, "You don't look like you're from West Virginia, you have all of your teeth." After all the times we had eaten at this establishment she makes that remark. This was a sign of disrespect, immaturity, and rudeness.

Brown's is one of our favorite places on the OC, NJ boardwalk. It has been family owned since 1976 and started out as a little donut shop. It is now a nice roomy boardwalk restaurant still built around the donuts that customers can watch being made. Donuts are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Choose from plain, cinnamon and sugar, powdered sugar, chocolate and vanilla iced. Come on down to the shore and enjoy Brown's on the boardwalk at the end at the end of St. Charles Place.
