This is the best place if you want good food along with good ice cream. Go to this place every time we are in OCNJ. Love it.

I've been going to Kessel's for 26 years and there is a reason my husband and I keep going back- delicious burgers, yummy milkshakes, creamy broccoli and cheddar soup and the best hot dogs along with many more appetizing dishes!! This is where many locals gather to enjoy a meal and camaraderie.
Dave, the owner, is a great chef and very friendly not to mention he employed my daughter, Caroline for many years.
Looking forward to my next visit to Kessel's!!

My husband and I were on our way home from Cape May and decided to take the long way home. We searched google and from the pictures and reviews we choose this place. At first glance, we loved the red and white checked table clothes and the coca cola collection. It's a nice place with counter service and plenty of tables. I had a BLT that was perfectly cooked. My husband had a steak sandwich and loved it. On the downside, service was lacking. It seems like it was all teenagers as servers and kitchen staff. Between them being scrolling through the phone and chit chatting, you couldn't get the servers attention for refills or extra napkins. Maybe they are off because it's the office season and a rainy December Sunday. Food great, service not so great.

Great place to eat. Love the egg, pancake, home fries and breakfast meat menu item! Open Thurs thru Sun, off season until the New Year!
