Too pricy for me for ok food.
Not speeding ahead, not falling behind. The gyro I had was fairly decent. Not the best I've had though. Interior is a little basic. It could do with a little brighter colors.
new owner
The original owner has moved on but the chef is the same. Fifteen dollars will get you a hefty Greek platter of dolmades etc. We still enjoyed the food.
May I suggest Greek music.
At least there were a couple vegetarian options but everything was covered in yogurt sauce (that was terribly tangy). Decently priced with appropriate portion sizes (a platter and rice pilaf fed our family of 4 enough). We were the only ones there so it was a little sad and yet service was slow. The server seemed more inclined to clean than to wait on us, despite it being a normal dinner time of 6 pm. All in all an okay place. Our expectations were maybe too high based on other reviews.
The Greek salad with chicken kabob is incredibly refreshing. The Mediterranean dressing is sweet, yet slightly spicy, and so delicious! Dip the warm, toasted pita in some extra dressing. The large salad fills you up and leaves you feeling more refreshed and is much healthier than if you ate fried boardwalk food. Worth walking a few blocks, for sure!
