“Good ice cream with a variety of options. It's open late during the summer, which is a plus. The only complaint is the service tends to be slow. We know that if there are 5 or 6 people ahead of us in line, it'll be about 20-30 minutes until we're served. It would be good to have two people working the windows on the busy summer nights to make the line move a little faster. It's close to our house and everyone is friendly, so we will keep going back despite the slower service.”

“As I sat on a bench nearby, I noticed the "Roman Style Pizza" under their name. Curious, I tried a sample that they offered and it was wonderfully good! Nice texture and very good flavor of the crust. I was compelled to get a slice! The toppings were very fresh. Better than my favorite pizza joint near my home. Very friendly people behind the counter, I wish them success. The only reason for the 4 of 5 stars is the small sitting area.”

“Giant, flavorful slices with a nice thin crust that has some nice crunch with an ever so slight chewiness makes the brothers a 5/5 for me. Slices are about $5 each, but they're huge and take up 2 plates. It's cool to see the pizzas being tossed fresh as well. Their indoor seating is great, but can fill up quickly. I hear they charge for cups of water. It seems like that's the "policy", but the staff are good people. Just get to know them and you'll get water for free (in cups with ice, not the bottles). Also, if you can eat an entire pie in under 13 minutes, you win 250 pies.”

We also tried the chips and salsa, the chips were fresh and the salsa was just right. The only suggestion I would make is to add maybe something simple for kids meal. The menu has bowl bases and topping combinations that I have not seen at other bowl places; however, I wish the place had printed out menus or a menu by the door that you could look at while waiting in line. The place is tiny and it is difficult to see the main menu when you are in the back of the line which leads to a trying to make a last minute decision at the register when you can really see the menu.”

“I am a regular at Bennies and I am greeted with a smile every time I walk in the door. My kids are obsessed with the chicken salads; they offer a regular and a Waldorf. As soon as it comes into the house it’s a race to make sure I get some of it before they eat it all. My favorite is the grilled chicken breasts though. They are so convenient for a fast sandwich. I melt mozzarella cheese over one and top it with their fig condiment and a bit of raspberry vinaigrette and put it all on one of their bagels. I should bring one in for them to taste; they could sell it and name it after me!”
