La Finestra Ristorante

As we always expect, the experience at La Finestra was exemplary. The atmosphere, service and particularly the cuisine were top notch and I would recommenf this restautant without hesitation.

Delicious meal. BYOB makes it more affordable too. Great staff.

Called at the last minute on a Saturday night on 4th of July weekend and the hostess took the time to see if we could be seated. Turns out they had a two-top cancel so we were in luck! We sat upstairs against the window and it was very comfortable with great views. A bit loud but we didn't mind it. Server was great, menu had variety, and they had 5 or 6 specials. We ordered the gnocchi spinaci and the crab ravioli and both were excellent! The atmosphere was elegant and it was a fine dining experience. A little pricey, but that's to be expected at the beach at a restaurant like this. We will be back!!!

Overall, La Finestra is another great option for Italian Cuisine in SIC. The best aspect of the restaurant is the location (center of town) and the view from both floors of the restaurant of the boardwalk and ocean, in addition to it being BYOB! The reservation experience through open table was easy and checking in once we arrived was also a good experience. One of the things you will notice as you walk in to either dining room is that it is very crowded and as a result can get very loud. It definitely isn't the place to go for a quiet, romantic dinner. The service was overall really good. The wait and bus staff all were very nice and attentive. The menu offers a nice selection while not being overwhelming. The food was very good, but not over the top or anything that in my opinion sets it apart from the other places on the island; it was slightly above average. One of my common gripes, with La Finestra being no exception, is that the entrees do not include a salad. Considering the higher prices for the food, I think a salad should be included. Overall, I had a good experience and I definitely could see myself returning.

Excellent new ocean view restaurant! Delicious food, wonderful ambiance, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Fine dining at the shore. Located on the second and third floors, with stairs and elevator access. I took photos of my appetizer and dessert and forgot to do so for my entree, but it was worthy of a photo also. A new and better experience at the shore - not your typical shore restaurant, much, much better. We are looking forward to our next experience there.
