Carmen's Seafood Restaurant

Right on the dock eating. Byob always good. Fresh seafood for sale to go too.

This restaurant is very accommodating to children. They even have a little play area in dining area where children can play while waiting for food. Food was good and surprisingly didn't take that long considering how busy they were. They only downfall was the seats they give you for little ones are not a highchair. They attach to the table and the chairs are old and straps were broken. It was almost impossible to keep my 1 year old contained.

This place is actually pretty good. Unlike similar restaurants in Sea Isle, the food is not deep fried. It's either broiled or baked. All of us had very tasty meals. Lister..very good. Flounder..very tasty. Shrimp and scallops..delicious. Only problem is no reservations. A problem on most Saturday nights. Recommend you try it.

We have been coming here for many years and it is always great food and service. We have not been here in about 2 years and were concerned something changed when we saw a 3.9 for reviews. We can’t imagine why they are this low. My wife and I just had the twin 1.5lb lobster lunch special for $26.95 each and they were outstanding as usual. We love it here. Please keep it up!!

I have to say I was worried with all the reviews on here recently. I have been coming here with my family since I was a couple of months old. Though the prices have risen a bit the over easy eggs and home fries where terrific! The waitress was brilliant and fun and we had a great time. My mom ordered a Carmen special omelette and my boyfriend got some French toast all was delicious. Can not wait to come back for breakfast.
