MudHen Brewing Company

I have been going to Wildwood every year for the last 16 years. I've seen restaurants come and go and have eaten at a majority of them. I was excited to see something new move in an it did not disappoint. I went with a larger group of friends for lunch. The wait staff was very accommodating and rearranged tables so we could all sit together. The place has a rustic atmosphere and was very clean.

As for the menu, don't let the single page deceive you. For eats, I got the BBQ pulled pork sandwich with waffle fries and it was AMAZING! The portion was very generous. The sandwich was tender and flavorful and the fries were seasoned perfectly. Everything came out very quickly as well. To drink, I got the Holly Beach Wheat and it was very refreshing. Reminded me of a Blue Moon or Stella.

The only con I have is that they only split checks 4 ways for large groups, so I ended up splitting the check with one of my friends.

All in all 9/10, would go again.

Had dinner on sat night 5-4-2019 it was a very very busy place. There's plenty of inside and outside seating , but not enough parking. Atmosphere and attitude were very pleasant. Brews were great and the food was outstanding. Service was fast and friendly, food came very quickly for how busy it was. It's an outstanding place if your looking for great bbq this is the place to go !

I have been going to Wildwood my whole life. And I was very excited to see such a modern and new place pop up. And they did NOT disappoint. My picky husband and father are hard to please with food and drinks and they along with the rest of our party had a wonderful experience all around. We ended up eating here 3 times that week!

Been here twice now. Service good and this time there were 16 of us and everything was together served hot no mistakes. Entire place inside and out is beautiful. With this many people I got to try several dishes , only thing I did not care for was spinach crab dip. Was to fishy for me , other then that everything was delicious. Highly recommend the MudHen. Great for couples up to large groups. Fire pit outside ????.. Would love to try that one time.

My wife and I had an incredible experience at this location. We have been trying to get in since it opened last year, but it's always been so crowded. After tonight I understand why. As a brewery the beers are extremely well crafted, but as a restaurant the food was even more impressive. They have vegan and vegetarian options, as well as seafood and all meats. The food was definitely made with love. A must do.
