Great food, beautiful view.
Went with no reservations and was told it be an hour wait. Host then asked for our cell number since two reservations were already late but he was giving them more time. We went to the boardwalk to kill time and 20 minutes later we get a call, table is ready for us. The food was great. Steaks cooked perfectly, lobster cleaned and steamed perfectly, shrimps, scallops, etc. all cooked and seasoned perfectly. Kids even said best fries they had in Wildwood. The staff and host were the friendly and attentive. The place is clean and decorated tastefully. Best experience we had in Wildwood and would come back just to eat here. Only thing I wasn't happy about is no alcohol sold except for wine, which is like water for me.
Service was good, but for the price, the food was not as good as we expected. And they only sold bottles of wine, no beer or alcohol...the wine wasn't even chilled! Everyone loved the french fries, but we didn't come for french fries (could've easily gotten those on the boardwalk). We came for really good seafood! The shrimp (in our shrimp tacos) and the lobster stuffed scallops we cooked very nicely, with pretty good flavor. I'll give them that, but meals as a whole lacked a WOW factor. The tacos were very dry. The beans and potatoes that came with the scallops were so, so. As others have stated, the rolls they gave us were horrible- not warm and kind of stale tasting.... We were a party of 5 and the bill came out to $140. NONE of what we ate was worth that!!!!
Went there 4th of July Weekend, Gary was our server. He was absolutely wonderful. Always on top of everything making sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our dinner. . Restaurant was pretty clean. We waited a bit to be seated (We were a party of 10 adults 2 toddlers and 2 babies). Food was good for the most part. Only upset about the fried shrimp platter, was a bit pricey and not enough food. Pasta's were very good (Shrimp Scampi, Shrimp with marinara and linguine, & Shrimp Alfredo). My husband had lobster and he loved it. Definitely recommend this restaurant.
