Fortescue's Bayside Grill

Let me start by saying I drove an hour and 15 minutes to get here. It was worth the traffic and the torrential downpour. Very small restaurant on the bay with food that puts big name seafood restaurants to shame. An awesome view, friendly wait staff and delicious food. What more could you possibly ask for?
When we told the hostess how far we drove we were instantly treated like celebrities and family all rolled into one. The seafood is fresh and from the sounds of delight at the next table the desserts are wonderful too.If you are in South Jersey please make the effort to go to this wonderful restaurant. I'd go back today if I could

Came from W.V. to visit family. Was brought here for breakfast. Loved it. Will come back when in Jersey.

Food is outstanding. Service is a little slow, but the food is worth the wait. Prices very reasonable. Bayside tables with a great view. Soups are home made and are fabulous. Portions are generous.

My boyfriend and I always drive out to Fortescue for the sunsets, but we’ve always wanted to stop in and eat. Despite being as small as the place is, they have the BEST customer service and the BEST food! From start to finish we had food on our table whether it was the freshly made pumpkin / cornbread, our crab cake appetizer (TO DIE FOR, One of the best!!!) and then our meal. It felt like family and the atmosphere was just awesome. We live in Vineland, so worth the 25 minute or so drive! Will be coming back to test out breakfast!!!

Food was great! Really nice owners.Service spot on. Will be making it a regular stop from now on. Take the ride on a nice day. Really worth it!
