The food was great they give u a great amout of shrimp and nice size of corn bread

My goodness! I ordered grilled shrimp, greens, and Mac and cheese; the shrimp were finger sucking good! I’ll definitely return to try other items on the menu. The menu doesn’t say grilled shrimp but I asked and boy am I glad I did (I try to avoid fried foods). I recall ordering grilled shrimp at another establishment (on the menu) and I was served sautéed shrimp. This owner knows what grilled should taste like!

I am a very picky consumer and whether you own a high end restaurant or not. If the food aint right. I will call you out on it. I started coming to lite & Soul eatery a few weeks ago and got hooked like a fish onto their Hawaiian chicken and lastly their banana pudding. The food is always hot. I can always tell when food has been microwaved and believe me. They are actually prepping my order when i call so there is no microwave involved. I can honestly say that they get right to the point which is serve good food. I have went to many soul food restaurants that are high end and have the live music and they still can not deliver the product. Lite and soul is clean, good service, great food and great banana pudding that seems like they brought my grandmother back from the dead because it taste exactly like how she used to make it. Lastly which is the most important. They even put a fork, napkin, and wet hand wipe packets in the bag. Something that many restaurants FAIL to do.
