St James's Gate Publick House

Good food and usually good service. The last time I ate here, the waiter seemed a little annoyed when he took my order, but I’ve never had a bad experience here.

Great local pub/restaurant. Great food and drink selection. Love the fireplace in winter.

Very good local watering hole. The food rated at 3.6, service at 4.1. The food preparations needs improvement, fish and chips wasn't real fresh and masked with a chemical taste to it, the roast beef with cheese was more like chewing leather. The fries and chicken fingers was good. Overall, if they want to sell food, they need to up their game. I love my pint of Guinness on tap here though.

Great cozy neighborhood watering hole... I would give you it 5 stars if they had a better beer selection! That's just me being picky though. Would certainly recommend!

Great little Irish pub. Brought a friend who was up from FL here after picking him up from EWR, it's a about a 20 minute drive. Needed to kill some time and got a late lunch here and a couple pints. Service was great, atmosphere was exactly what you'd expect from an Irish pub. And moreover the food was excellent. Will definitely come back here if I'm in the area and I highly recommend you do so as well!
