    Nice, eclectic decor and atmosphere, small & quaint, reminds one of a French bistro. Very good food, service is sometimes slow depending on crowd and staffing. Definitely a place we like to go to for a quiet, conversational evening.

    I highly recommend the Steak and Frites and the Chicken Cordon Bleu. All the meat is cooked with perfection sided with the best sauces. The dining atmoshpere is a french village-type with romantic live music. Born and raised in NYC's UES, I have gone to the best french resturants from Matisse to Le Bernardin, I was impressed how Café Monet makes the best city style bistro in suburbia. When you go, ask what Chef Wess is having for dinner!

    Wonderful experience. The owner is a very interesting English woman. I definitely recommend it.
