Montclair Social Club

Decent, kind of hipster place with good cocktails and live music some nights. Living in the city, I wouldn't make a special trip to Montclair just to go here...but if I lived in Montclair it would be a regular stop. Food was very good, a little richer and heavier than I expected.

Too small of a space of the amount of people it attracts. People telling us on the way out not to even bother, upset because they had to wait 2 hours even with a reservation

All I can say is wow. They go above and beyond here for their guests and that goes to show that not all places are alike and thank god for that. Our waiter was great, it was my uncles birthday and they came out with a beautiful plate with decadence then Happy Birthday written so beautifully like a caligraphy artist did it. The ambiance was chic, the place packed. The food was delicious. And our waiter was star quality. We definitely will be coming back. This place is truly special and fun and great all rolled into one sweet package. Glad to know places like this exist, in the tri-state area, local is the place to be. We loved it! Thank you for making my uncles birthday awesome!

Loved the menu, so good we couldn't decide. Waiter Christian was amazing and did a great job even with how busy they were.
