    The Montclair Diner (Char-Broil) has been a part of my family since the day we moved to Montclair. This is the place where everybody knows your name. Gus, his family, and staff are very warm and caring. The service is quick, the food is good. Kids can go there with their friends and you will be assured they are safe and taken care of.

    As we arrive, the owner greeted us and escorted us the out table. He explained that the booth in which we sat was a favorite of Yogi Barra and Bruce Willis.

    The food service was fast. My Cob Salad was large and taisty. After we had already paid and were getting ready to leave the owner asked us if we would like to try some rice pudding that he had just made. My 2 friends said no but I wasn't about to pass up the opportunity to try the pudding. Be came back with 3 bowls of rice pudding. It was a wonderful surprise and quite the treat too.
