Plum on Park

This is a great little place, food selection is limited but anything you order tastes great, always worth a repeat visit. It is a bit on the pricey side, but comparable with the rest of Montclair. There is no kids menu. The service has always been fantastic every time we've gone.

Plum on Park gives me the feeling that the owner went to Jamaica got a hit of inspiration or maybe he's just a fan. Bob Marley was playing when we came into the restaurant and Spur Tree pepper sauce it their hot sauce of choice. I'll allow it. :)

I had the bread pudding French toast and that probably wasn't the best choice for me. It works if you love bread pudding so much that you want it for breakfast. It sounded like a good idea at the time but after a few bites I was over it. I also had the Banana Coconut Milk, Maple Nutmeg smoothie. It was good at first but once I started eat the French toast, it tasted terrible to me. Those two did not pair well at all and I ended up not enjoying it or finishing it (which never happens).

I would have to go back and try the other things on the menu to re-evaluate because they have other delicious sounding dishes.

My boyfriend had the shrimp and grits and he let me taste it. It was my first time tasting grits and decided I didn't like it but the flavor of the dish was really good with hot sauce.

Very nice staff. Food is good but misses on some tiny details like bacon on the eggs Benedict is too hard to cut. But rest of meal is delicious (I had brunch only so I can't judge other meals.) Special non alcoholic drinks are very good.

Awesome and interesting breakfast menu. Even gluten free options that taste good! Also fresh juices too!
