Marcel Bakery and Kitchen

Delicious! I had a great time there. Great food and good service.

I’ve been to Marcel twice now. Sometimes a good bakery is hard to find, but it’s nice to know you can stop in for a coffee and a pastry. I find the service quick and friendly and the food very tasty. A really cool find are the halva croissants, give one a try! It really seems like they built their menu from quality ingredients and I love it.

Edit: I’m also a huge fan of the decor and listening to Stevie Nicks while I eat. This is a great place to spend a lunch. One more thing Marcel has going for it are ample hours. You can stop by for brunch, lunch, and even an after dinner snack.

I have always had a good experience here. The food is excellent, especially the mushroom and cheese omlet with a side of fresh pita. Great coffee and pastries too.

I didn't know what to expect. I saw the pictures online and felt that they would be a good bet for a healthy breakfast. Wow, I was not disappointed. The food was amazing. My dark roast coffee was perfect. They have honey along with all the usual sweeteners. My Yemenite Vine Breakfast was out of this world. It had wonderful hot salsa to put on top of it which was spectacular. The ambiance was charming.

Love this place! Good and creative food, friendly people, and a well designed, cozy environment. It's a little smaller than I would like, but if you can get a seat, its worth it to just sit back, sip a homemade smoothie and enjoy the scene. I have never been disappointed by their menu, and I plan on coming back many more times to try all their blossoming dishes. (Tip: read the menu online before going. They have new stuff every day but there are so many options, it helps to have a general idea of what they have before you make the trip.)
