(December 30, 2018, 3:07 pm)Ate breakfast here a week ago and it was great. Ordered whiting and grits and it tasted as good as my mom's which is saying something. Brought some out of town family members and mom there last night for dinner and they all raved about their good. Mom is a tough food critic and she raved about the liver and onions. The other six family members all some highly of their selections and I went for a fried fish dinner which did not disappoint at all. Yes, expect a wait for your food but freshly prepared food takes time and as you can see from the reviews the food is worth the wait. I am new to Jefferson's but will be back for sure. Mrs. Jefferson even took the time to chat with each member of my family and made them all feel extremely welcome.

(October 22, 2018, 12:16 pm)Me and my girlfriend were impressed, not all small businesses are quality. The the food was good and the staff were friendly. I believe its family owned and ran. Cozy and a family vibe.
