    In my opinion, Toro is one of the best sushi restaurants in Montclair! I have been coming to this spot since I first discovered it when I attended Montclair State University, and have been coming back periodically despite not living around the area. I always get the Tuna Dumpling, Shrimp Tempora roll and spicy tuna and it always tastes absolutely delicious and fresh. Definitely a must try if you are in the area!

    I came in right before they are closing but they were still really friendly and bring me into the restaurant. I was really surprised because I searched on google and yelp and find the reviews kind of trashy. But they actually have nice food and everything were fresh. Also I learned how that there was a new owner and they tried changing the menu and the restaurant a little to make it better for customers to have a better time here. I recommend this place to people that is willing to try new stuff.

    Clean atmosphere. Delicious & mouthwatering foods, especially their fresh sushi+sashimi dishes. The owners are the most amazing folks you’d meet in the area. Hi to Amy & Andy & staff members :) we cannot wait to come eat again and see all of your smiles!
