I saw Sweet T’s featured on Door Dash as a Black-owned restaurant. So, do I support, for the culture? ABSOLUTELY! I am so glad that I did. I’m only sorry that I didn’t take photos of their beautiful presentation. The thoughtful way they secured the bag to the presentation of the food in the packaging to the DELICIOUS Smoked Turkey Greens, the Deviled Eggs, and the Pulled Chicken and Cole Slaw have definitely branded me as a fan. The food was perfectly seasoned, filling, and the portions were perfect. I’ll be ordering again today.
This was my first time here and I could honestly say I'll be back, The waitress (meme) was wonderful. The wings from the start was good full of flavor. [The main course] I had the fried chicken and yams, collard greens if you like spicy greens this for you. (Not for me because I can't have spicy food). My daughter had the beef ribs grilled cheese sandwich that was excellent along with the Mac & Cheese they could cook the noodles longer but still it was good. All in all I give this restaurant a very good review.
Great atmosphere, great friendly service.
Prices are decent.
The food.. straight to the point, they succeed delivering that southern flavor. The iced tea is amazing, along with the Mac & Cheese. Don’t forget to get the cornbread.. served warm with nice chard to it.. as if it was grilled with butter with a nice sweet sauce. 12/10
Will definitely recommend & come back.
Oh my goodness, the cheese grits here! So delicious! The peach tea - feels like peach cobbler and sweet tea sunshine. Food was delicious. If you are looking for comforting soul food that uses turkey and chicken alternatives, this place has it for you! There's also a vegan lasagna on the menu. Ashley our server was so patient, answered our questions, and made our experience great. Also, loved the old-school and early 2000s R&B playlist.
I came from Maryland (Jersey bred) and decided to support this black owned business and order takeout. We ordered the fried chicken and fried fish. The hostess informed us that our order would take 30 minutes. An hour and 20 minutes later our food was finally ready. When asked to speak to a manager, I was informed the manager wasn’t there at the moment. We were annoyed not only with the length of time that we waited but also with the hostess’ unapologetic attitude. When inquiring why I saw people eating that came in after I placed my order, the hostess informed me that dine-in customers take precedence over take out.
To be fair, I realize that this is a new establishment and that they are still working out the kinks. It’s my hope that the owners do a better job grooming their front line staff so that they are better representatives for this establishment. As a paying customer, I should have NEVER been told that dine-in customer orders take precedence over mine. I paid the same price for my food as the dine-in patrons. IF that is truly how you do business, at least advise the staff to be considerate and let your patrons know what’s up before placing and paying for their orders. This way, you give your customers the option to choose whether or not they want to wait for their order(s) to be fulfilled.
So before you go there for take out, please know that your order is not priority (because you are not dining in) and that you will most definitely wait much longer than informed.
