Burger Bound Newark

I come here most trips to NJ. Good food, good service, good atmosphere. I like they have a lot of choices including a lot of healthy ones. Always a pleasure.

1st off let me say that I live for good burgers and this place lived up to the other great reviews I read this afternoon before going here. I almost didn't go because of the 3/4 mile walk from my office on this brisk, windy day but WOW am I glad i went!!

The place is situated on a corner with tons of attractive signage so you can't miss it even if you tried.

I was greeted by the bar tender who was working the tables during the slower lunch hour and he instantly recommended the tasty happy hour drinks ($3 beers, $5 wines & $7 cocktails).

I ordered the BB Special Burger - caramelized onions, avocado, Aioli, bacon, ham, fried egg & pickles and it came out perfectly cooked and was to die for.

I also recommend you order the cheese fries which aren't just normal fried with cheese dumped on them, these fries were crispy, flavorful and DUNKED in delicious cheese.

I can't wait to go back for another great meal and hopefully indulge in the happy hour drinks after work one day.

My burger was good. Chicken sandwich should've been cooked a little longer. My drink was GREAT!!

Pretty cool place hidden behind Ferry St. I was looking around for another restaurant and bump into this Burger Bound. The place is small but very unique, it has a full bar and a patio in the back. The service was excellent and the meal that I order was to my taste. On the weekends they have live music and a brunch on Sundays with a different selection of the menu.

Great food. Great environment. They even have vegan food for those non meat eaters. Dont worry there skirt steak is awesome too. Definitely a must if you looking for a great burger fries and milkshake.
